Studio Sessions

Richard Senate also hosts Studio Sessions, the public television      program where he interviews and showcases entertainers, educators, historians, authors/poets, performance artists & storytellers (incl. himself as an occasional featured storyteller).

In this special episode entitled Jungleland! Lost Attraction of Ventura County Mr. Senate interviews Randy Runyun, the son of the famous Junleland and television clown from the ’50s & ’60s Chucko the Clown, who discusses growing up at Jungleland and then taking over from his dad as Chucko Jr.

As an Ojai historian himself, Richard recently had the great fortune of having as his guest on Studio Sessions Ojai author and historian Craig Walker, author of 2  reference-grade publications, the 1st        being   Ojai by Design: The Fine Architecture of the Ojai Valley

The other great program featuring Ojai Historian Craig Walker, is the episode on a book he authored about the founder of AARP,          entitled Ethel Percy Andrus: One Woman Who Changed America.
