The Life & Legacy of Erle Stanley Gardner

Perhaps the best known lawyer in the world, Perry Mason was created in Ventura by local lawyer Erle Stanley Gardner.  The creation of this beloved character will be the highlight of this talk.  In many ways, Mason is a reflection of Mr. Gardner himself. 

Mr. Senate is also renowned for his knowledge of early California history, specifically of Father Junipero Serra & the establishment of the California Missions.

Many mansions and adobes in the southwest are rumored to have ghosts,            including the Molly Brown mansion in Leadville Colorado & the Kit Carson Adobe in Taos, New Mexico.
